Lots of fun, educational, and interesting things to see and do for kids of all ages. In addition to touch-tank introductions to creatures from Bay and land such as friendly fish, crabs, turtles, horseshoe crabs and seahorses, there will be puppets, recycled boat races, and pots to paint for plants. Learn about PWEC’s Fishmobile, oyster restoration program, opportunities for summer internships, and more. There will be live music plus delicious food; ice cream; lemonade and teas; locally bottled wines and micro-brewery beer. Non-profit partner exhibitors will offer demonstrations and information on everything from rain gardens to native plants, storm water management, living shorelines and energy alternatives.
