This past weekend Oyster Reef Recovery Initiative had a chance to make our first oyster pick-ups. It was a grueling day but we had some great results (which should be posted very soon by our wonderful oyster growers). While we were super busy making the pick-ups, we were fortunate enough to have Erin Fluharty from The Star Democrat with us along for the ride and Erin captured some great moments from the day.

We are off to a great start and can’t wait to see what is next for the Oyster Reef Recovery Initiative. Make sure to keep an eye out for our First Annual Oyster Social which is June 21st!
